Raising Cane’s officially opens in Sioux City

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — After months of waiting, it’s official: Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers is finally open in Sioux City!

Raising Cane’s workers said 10 people endured the cold and lined up early Thursday morning to get some chicken fingers, including one resident who spent the night camping outside the restaurant.

Earlier Thursday morning, 20 names were drawn from a contest, and those folks were given a year of free Raising Cane’s meals.

Raising Cane’s also donated $1,000 to the Sioux City community School District.

“We expect a good turnout, and we’re ready for it. We’ve got a lot of great crew; we’ve got plenty of people ready to take as many orders as possible and as fast and efficient as possible,” said Jason Zwerin, the Vice President at Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers. “We’re just known for quality chicken finger meals. We try to do it better than anybody else. Our chicken is hand breaded and cooked to order and outstanding. So come on down and try us out if you’ve never had us before.”

Raising Cane’s hours will be open from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday to Thursday, and Friday to Saturday, they’re open 10 a.m. to 2 a.m.
